Storage and removal services aren’t usually at the top of anyone’s Christmas list. Whether it’s a house sale falling through, running out of space, or unexpected circumstances, people often find themselves forced into needing them at short notice.

Since 2005, our family business based just outside Newtownards has been helping people through exactly those situations — while also supporting local businesses and tradespeople who need reliable, secure space for stock, tools, and equipment. Whatever the reason, our aim has always been to keep things simple, flexible, and affordable for our customers. 

Having worked with my dad (Mark) growing up on the farm and now continuing that work in the storage and removals world, we’ve carried those same values of hard work and honesty into everything we do serving those in Newtownards, Bangor, Comber, Belfast and further afield.

That’s also the reason I’ve started this blog. Over the years, I’ve been asked all sorts of questions — from how much storage space someone really needs, to how removals actually work, and the common worries around safety, cost, and flexibility. There’s a lot of uncertainty around storage and removals, and plenty of misconceptions too.

Through these posts, I want to share some of our experience, answer the most common questions, and give straightforward, honest advice to help people make the right decisions — whether they’re moving home, running a business, or just need a bit of extra space.
